Inter-House athletic sports meets are held every other year to bring out the athlete in every child and to inculcate values such as team spirit and sportsmanship within students.

The Inter-House Athletic Sports meet of BIS was held at Bloomfield cricket and athletic club grounds, Colombo 7, on the 12th of August 2014. The Chief guest was Major General Ravi Rathnasingham (Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Service Crops Regiment & Quarter Master General of the Army).
