The latest inclusion to the array of extracurricular activities is cricket. Cricket practices are held every Friday and Saturday at the Boralesgamuwa Maha Vidyalaya grounds and the Fingara cricket academy, Raththanapitiya. The students are coached by a well qualified and experienced coach.

A Friendly cricket match between the junior & senior cricket teams of BIS and the cricket teams of President's College, Kotte was held at the Borelesgamuwa Maha Vidyalaya ground on the 28th February 2015.
